The beginning of New Life Fellowship
New Life Fellowship began in a small way in Mumbai approximately 40 years ago. Later Pastor Joseph took on the primary leadership and during those years of serving the Lord, he took a group of young people to fast and pray for specific direction from the Lord for the NLF ministry. It was during this meeting that the Lord gave them a specific vision to reach out to Mumbai and the surrounding regions in India.

As an offshoot of this vision, VM Samuel and his wife Somey moved out of Bombay in 1983 and came to Mangalore. They served in Mangalore for until 1987 and then moved to Bangalore. Today, Samuel and Somey, the Senior Pastors of New Life Fellowship have established churches all over South India and in the Middle East.

Who are we?
We as a New Life Fellowship, an evangelical charismatic church established in most states of India
We are a peace loving community and we gather for prayer and worship every week on Sundays.
We are a Church and we believe that a Church is gathering of people who have a personal experience with Christ with a purpose to worship, to witness, to hearing God’s word and to doing good works in the community.

Who constitute the members?
The members include families and individuals from all walks of life who have come to the personal experience of meeting with the Person of Jesus Christ. People from all communities and backgrounds join us in this experience to worship God, to pray and to hear from the Holy Scriptures. We believe that faith is not mental activity alone but primarily experiential and therefore to be a member one has to have an experience of having received the forgiveness by confessing ones sin and repenting of the past sins and believe that the source of forgiveness is the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross 2000 years back.

We believe in one God existing in three persons, coeternal, coexistent, and coequal. We believe that God the Father sent God the Son to die for our sins, and those who believe in the death of Jesus Christ on the cross receive forgiveness of their sins and also receive God the Holy Spirit who enables the recipient to live as an overcoming and a holy life.

We are a peace loving community that includes families and individuals from different walks of life, different professions. We follow Christ and practice His commandment to love God and love our neighbours - that means we wish the highest good for our neighbours socially, economically, and spiritually.
