From its modest beginnings with 15-20 children, our Junior Church today ministers to nearly 80 children, right from toddlers to pre-teens.

Junior Church began in the year 1999 under the leadership of Mrs. Teresa. Right from its inception to the present Junior Church, her influence is evident that the children have a great interest in the Word of God. We also have a good number of talented and passionate teachers, both men and women who are well equipped to teach our children the eternal Word of God in the most exciting and creative way. The Junior Church is currently under the leadership of Pastor Sam Skaria.

The vision of the Junior Church ministry is to provide our children a joyful atmosphere of vibrant and anointed praise and worship and teach them God’s Word and His principles in the most creative and interactive method. We want our children to learn to apply these principles in their day-to-day life so that they grow up into a generation ‘knowing God’, with great love for Him and for the lost.

Our Programs
Junior Church seeks to cover a wide range of topics that have proved of value over many years of use and are important in many aspects of the Christian life. These include putting God first, spiritual disciplines, witnessing, and life lessons from Biblical characters. Children have proven themselves capable of understanding many deep and complicated subjects if presented in a clear way.
 
     
   
 

The Bible says in Eccl. 12:1 – “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth , before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them". Remembering the Creator during the days of youth will instill within the youth strong and enduring values which only Christ can imprint on their hearts!

NLF youth includes those from teens to young adults and the activities are designed to encourage an inquiry into Christian identity, sharpening of academic, intellectual and spiritual skills, and help youth explore their feelings and concerns about significant spiritual and social issues.

Youth Vision
The vision of our Youth Ministry is to raise up young men and women with a great passion for the Lord Jesus Christ and reach out to other young people in the city. We accomplish this primarily through care cells where they are given personal attention and care. A conducive environment is created to encourage ministry skills through these small groups. Pastor Sam Skaria along with other team members minister to the youth spending quality personal time with them and through their investment in various care cells.

The Youth are also actively involved in other ministries like the Junior Church , Worship team, Prayer Ministry and community development. Our long-term vision is to have a separate Youth Service where the young people can express themselves freely in worship and praise and being grounded in the truth of God's Word, they in turn can invite other young people in the city who need the love of Christ.

 
     
   
  The Worship Ministry of New Life Church in Karnataka began in a small way with Mrs. Somey Samuel and her team leading worship in Mangalore. Today by the grace of God, NLF churches have been blessed with wonderful worship teams who are gifted both with skill in music and anointing on their lives.

The worship team of Bangalore City Church comprises of various teams. We have Worship leaders along with their choir, musicians and a skilled group of young individuals involved in the sound system and other logistics of worship. There is a constant effort in the worship team to improve the communication line between the worship leaders, the choir, the musicians and the people involved in the technical aspects of sound and music. We try to accomplish this purpose through our worship care cells and sporadic training sessions that we arrange from time-to-time.
